Hale's 100-year old reputation as builders of "the finest" bookcases was earned by establishing and maintaining exacting standards of craftsmanship and materials. The average tenure of a Hale foreman is 28 years. Select hardwood renewable resource species of Birch, Oak, Basswood, Butternut and Walnut, used in the construction of all Hale manufactured bookcases, are harvested locally in the Adirondack Mountain region of upstate New York. Hale bookcases use only solid wood shelving with a capacity of 150 pounds each. |
