Hale offers door installation options on the 200-500-1100 door and hinged door style. Both door styles offer glass or wood installation according to your design needs. All bookcases over 48 inches high will have a pair of doors installed above and below a fixed shelf.
Selections provided below. Pricing indicates the add-on upgrade price for open bookcases ordered on this web site.
Note: These door options are available only for the 200, 500 and 1100 series bookcases only.

Sliding Doors:
Choose between glass or wood veneered sliding doors. Glass doors slide effortlessly on nylon wheels enclosed in the door shoe. Wood doors slide on glides that lock onto the track to prevent jumping. For a nominal fee, plunger locks may be installed in the metal door shoe on glass or wood doors.
Hinged Doors:
For a more traditional cabinet look, the hinged door option is available. Made from solid wood, with stile and rail construction, the hinged door frame is offered with glass or wood inserts. Handcrafted and individually installed, the inset hinged door option is an attractive addition to any bookcase. Optional cam locks can be ordered as required.
When Ordering:
Choose glass or wood for each set of sliding doors for 60", 72", 84"and 96" heights. Sliding doors on 30", 36" and 48" are glass only. For Hinged doors, select door pull choice. Hinged wood doors will be finished as indicated by bookcase order. Sliding doors accept only door pull #1. Purchase door locks separately as listed below.

Note: Shelf depth is 1 3/4" less than Standard when Sliding Doors are added. Shelf depth is 3/4" less than Standard when Hinged Doors are added.
FREE Freight Service is Dock-to-Dock in US 48 for orders more than 300lbs. For lift gate and/or inside delivery or for residential service, please select the freight option for this service in the shopping cart. For orders under 300 lbs. a freight charge of $40 will be applied except for items shipped via UPS.
